. REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
1. GENERAL PRINCIPLE BYTEBRIDGE SERVICES (PTY) LTD provides bespoke, personalized digital content. Unlike physical goods, the "product" we provide is a result of professional labor and creative expertise. Therefore, our refund policy is designed to balance client satisfaction with the protection of our professional time.
2. CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
- Immediate Cancellation: You may cancel your order for a full refund within 12 hours of payment, provided that our writers have not yet commenced the drafting process.
- Work-in-Progress: If you cancel after work has begun but before a first draft is delivered, a 50% "Kill Fee" will be retained to cover the hours already invested in your project.
3. REFUND ELIGIBILITY
- Post-Delivery: Once the first draft of a CV or digital profile has been delivered to your email, no full refunds will be issued.
- Bespoke Nature: Because each document is custom-written for the individual, the service cannot be "returned" for resale.
- Dissatisfaction: Dissatisfaction with the writing style is not grounds for a refund, as we provide a revision process to align the output with your preferences.
4. THE REVISION PROCESS
- Standard Revisions: Each package includes two (2) rounds of revisions.
- Timeframe: Revision requests must be submitted within seven (7) business days of receiving your draft. If no feedback is received within this window, the project is marked as "Closed and Approved."
- New Scope: Revisions cover adjustments to the existing information. Adding entirely new career history or changing the target job industry after the draft is complete is considered a "Scope Change" and may incur additional charges.
5. PROCESSING REFUNDS Where a refund is approved (e.g., due to accidental double payment), it will be processed via the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Any bank charges or transaction fees incurred during the initial payment are non-refundable.
6. NON-REACHABLE CLIENTS If a client fails to provide necessary information or feedback for more than 30 days, the project will be suspended. Reactivating a suspended project may incur a "Reactivation Fee" of R250.00.
